Kats in Knead is an established 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care and support for the kittens of Los Angeles. Given the overcrowding in shelters throughout the city, our mission is to prevent as many felines as possible from being euthanized by advocating for fostering and through our various programs. By actively pursuing our goal, we strive to make a significant impact in the community, giving felines the second chance at life they deserve. Through our dedicated efforts and the support of our community, we hope to make a difference in animal welfare!
Who are we?
Why Kats in Knead?
Kats in Knead's mission is to prevent feline euthanasia due to overcrowded city shelters. Our initiatives include the Kitty Kit Program, which provides essential supplies and care guidance for new foster families, finding more fosters, and our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, aimed at controlling the stray cat population humanely. All of our programs are entirely funded by donations.
